Being a writer/in publishing means you are constantly keeping secrets that you have to wait weeks/months to announce – so I’m ecstatic I can finally share this one: I won the LAR Literary Award for Short Fiction! My story “How to Tell That Guy You’ve Been Dating, Your Boyfriend, Or Your Friend (Whom You’re Actually in Love With) You Have a Disability,” and the runners-up, will be published in 2020’s LAR best-of annual print edition, issue no. 24.
